A Registered Training Organisation (RTO) is authorised by the Australian Government to provide Nationally Recognised Training.
The Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS) is a register of Australian education institutions that recruit, enrol and teach overseas students.
Registration on CRICOS allows providers to offer courses to overseas students studying, or intending to study, in Australia on student visas.

Under the new ASQA regulations all newly registered RTO’s receive 2 years registration initially. After a successful audit you could apply for a 7 year license. (subject to meeting ASQA terms)
